TAFE NSW Curriculum Centres have now been replaced by Industry
Skills Units and a Social Inclusion & Vocational Access Unit which
will provide peak industry, community, professional and other bodies
with a contact point on a whole of state, industry, regulatory and
other developments.

The role of the units will include:
- developing and maintaining a range of training and education
resources to support the timely implementation of Training Package
qualifications and accredited courses in TAFE NSW
- providing professional support and specialist advice to Institutes
to build the capability of staff to customise training products and
services
- providing a point of contact for industry, the community,
government agencies and other key stakeholders on training and
education matters for TAFE NSW
- providing specialist advice to government on training and
education issues impacting on TAFE NSW
- managing state wide projects and initiatives related to training
and education services.
