4964D Transforming Conflict 
Module Purpose
The
purpose of the module is to enable the participant to
develop and experience the use of communication skills
for nonviolence to transform conflict and to negotiate
with other people. This module is specifically designed
for experiential learning, i.e. learning through practical
activities in a group situation.
About this Module
The module is presented regularly in a number of different
TAFE NSW courses including 9591, 9591, 9593, and CGVE. It
is also presented in a number of Alternatives to Violence
Project (AVP) and Help Increase the Peace Program (HIPP)

Training Found to Curb School Violence
- A press release of The (US) National Association of
Social Workers (NASW), in Washington, DC dated March 23,
2001 which shows the success of a similar program to this
module in an American school where it was made compulsory
for all staff and students.
The Conflict Resolution Network Australia - This
website contains lists of resources produced by the Conflict
Resolution Network and some good basic notes on the skills
