Languages Other Than English (LOTE) & Women's Programs provides courses for adult learners who
require language skills as part of their working life. AUSLAN and signed
English are included in this program area along with pre-vocational and entry
level programs for women.
This Program Area also has responsibility
for Women only courses. The courses aim to improve access, participation and
outcomes for women in Vocational Education and Training. The courses target
women who have been away from the workforce for a long time and wish to
increase their self-confidence and skills, including literacy and numeracy
skills, in order to re-enter the workforce.
