Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) - aims to educate, inform and assist small business operations, in understanding their rights and responsibilities under the Trade Practices Act. Australian Government Information - this National Library of Australia site provides comprehensive links to all Commonwealth, State and Local Government departments and agencies. Australian Government links - from Charles Sturt University. Australian Greenhouse Office - has a range of programs from household and community to industry and government action that are making significant progress in reducing Australia’s greenhouse emissions. Australian Institute of Environmental Health (AIEH) - the peak national organisation which advocates environmental health issues and represents the professional interests of Environmental Health Officers. Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) - exposes and minimises corruption in the New South Wales public sector through investigation, corruption prevention and education. Office of Management and Budget (USA) - assists in overseeing the preparation of the Federal budget and to supervise its administration in Executive Branch agencies. Office of Personnel Management - oversees all aspects of human resource management and labour relations in US Federal Government agencies. Organisation for Economic Co-operation & Development (OECD) - an organisation that provides governments with a setting to discuss, develop and perfect economic and social policy. Public Service Education and Training Australia (PSETA) - is the national organisation dealing with issues related to vocational education, training and development for the public service industry. Australian Local Government Association (ALGA) - is a federation of associations in each of Australia's six States and the Northern Territory and the Government of the Australian Capital Territory and aims to enhance the national reputation of local government and its role in the Australian system of government. Department of Energy, Utilities & Sustainability (DEUS) - Government Programs Sustainability section provides a range of policy and other information. Department of Environment and Climate Change (DECC) - (incorporating Environment Protection Authority - EPA) - is the primary NSW public sector organisation responsible for protecting the environment. Law & Justice Foundation of NSW - supports innovative programs and activities which inform public policy on justice issues and improve the community's access to justice. Local Government & Shires Associations (LGSA) - Local Government Association represents mainly urban councils. Shires Association represents mainly rural councils. The two Associations serve councils through a common secretariat based in Sydney.
