Australian Costumers Guild - extensive costume and millinery links Costume Image Database - index to selected images used in the study of fashion and costume at Columbia College Library can be searched in several ways. Digital images are available only to terminals inside Columbia's library. This is due to copyright law restrictions. Each record contains a 'Source' field that can be used by outside researchers to identify and obtain the original source document with image. International Costumers’ Guild Inc - exists as an affiliated group of chapters across North America and Australia, members trade tips, skills and ideas, produce newsletters several times a year Liquor, Hospitality & Miscellaneous Union - covers a range of industry sectors including dry cleaning, TCF and media, entertainment and arts. Media Entertainment & Arts Alliance - represents workers in the entertainment, arts and media industry, extensive site with good links. Metropolitan Museum (NY) - possesses 75,000 costumes covering 7 centuries and 5 continents. Fifty highlights are featured online – good links to resources. Museum of Costume (UK) - one of the worlds finest collection of fashionable dress and accessories, illustrating the changing styles of dress for men, women and children over the last 400 years. National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) - Australia's national training centre for the arts entertainment industry Needle Arts Resources - loads of links on costuming, leatherwork and shoemaking. Australian Workers Union (AWU) - The Australian Workers Union is the nation’s oldest trade union with a proud history of representing workers from all walks of life – covers the cotton ginning and laundry sectors – good resources Continental Eagle Corporation - manufactures and markets worldwide a premier line of cotton ginning, cotton processing and handling equipment Cotton Australia - the peak industry body for Australia's cotton growers; has a range of fact sheets and other education resources available.
