AUS-MEAT - responsible for establishing and maintaining National Industry Standards for Meat Production and Processing.

Australian Liquor, Hospitality and Miscellaneous Workers Union (LHMU) - represents hospitality and leisure workers, including those in the baking industry, amongst a wide range of other workers.

Australian Meat Industry Council (AMIC) - the peak body representing retailers, processors, exporters & smallgoods manufacturers in the post-farm-gate meat industry.

Australasian Meat Industry Employees' Union (AMIEU) - NSW Branch: represents Meat Processing Industry employees.

Australian Pork Limited (APL) - the national body for Australian pig producers.

Australian Quarantine & Inspection Service (AQIS) - inspect incoming animals  and their products, and provides inspection and certification for a range of exports.

Australian Society of Baking (ASB) - provides a forum for learning more about the industry through meetings and seminars.

Baking Industry Association (BIA NSW) - engaged in promoting the industry and its essential role as a part of the food and hospitality sector.

BRI Australia - an independent organisation engaged in research, training and the provision of services for the grains processing, grains foods, and baking industries.

Coles - a major Australian supermarket chain.

Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) - develops food standards, and joint codes of practice with industry, covering the content and labelling of food sold in Australia and New Zealand.

Food Science Australia - Australia's leading food, health and nutrition research organisation and a joint venture of CSIRO and the Victorian Government.

Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry - Australia (DAFF) - responsible for helping Australian agricultural, food, fisheries and forest industries become more competitive, profitable and sustainable.

Leading Edge -  the largest distributed baking industry publication throughout Australia & New Zealand and also Pacific region countries.

Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) - provides research & development, market information and marketing to benefit the red meat industry.

National Food Industry Strategy (NFIS) - aims to bring about sustainable improvements to the commercial activities of Australian food businesses.  

NSW Department of Primary Industries: Agriculture - a government provider of information and services for the New South Wales food and fibre industries.

NSW Food Authority - provides the regulation framework for industry to produce safe and correctly labelled food.

Poultry Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) - undertakes a range of research and development projects as well as providing news and a range of publications.

Safe Meat - details Australia's red meat safety system.

Woolworths - a major Australian supermarket chain.
