What we doElectrical Installations, Servicing & Industrial Control develops course and resources for:
Courses are provided as short courses, traineeships, certificates, diplomas and advanced diplomas. Development of the courses involves consultation with a range of stakeholders from the relevant industry, unions and professional associations as well as the the vocational education sector. This program area has particular relationships with the National Utilities and Electrotechnology Industry Training Advisory Body. Graduates form our courses find employment in the following fields: electrical systems, services and equipment (in building structures and premises), electrical contracting and estimating, security installations, data and telecommunications cabling, electrical generation, transmission and distribution, industrial instrumentation & control systems, lifts, renewable/sustainable energy and lighting design and installation.
