Study Pathways - HSC/TAFE/University

This page provides information about the pathways between the NSW Higher School Certificate and TAFE and between the TAFE Mechanical Engineering Advanced Diploma and Degrees in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering  at a number of universities.

 HSC Credit Transfer Arrangements

As an additional bonus for the work you have already completed in the NSW Higher School Certificate you will be granted advanced standing in selected Mechanical Engineering Advanced Diploma modules.

Visit the HSC/TAFE Credit Transfer web site to see the full list of HSC Credit Transfer Arrangements for the Mechanical Engineering Advanced Diploma course.

   University Articulation Arrangements

On completion of your Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Technology you may be granted advanced standing in a Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering Degree. This would reduce your degree on average by  twelve months depending on the TAFE subject you have selected as part of your advanced diploma and the pass level achieved.

Click on a link below to view list of credits you receive from that University:
