 Courses

Agriculture - Intensive provides training and recognised qualifications for a wide range of industry areas. These include animal care, animal management, production horticulture primarily viticulture, horse breeding and racing, post-harvest seafood handling, aquaculture, agro-forestry, farriery and beekeeping.

The information is updated daily and shows course name and number - full details of each course (description, locations, qualification level, duration, etc.) can be obtained by following links on the page.

Commercial courses
  • TAFEPlus is the commercial training arm of TAFE NSW, customising training to suit the needs of industry and individuals. You can search for a course and enrol online.
Distance & online education options
  • OTEN (Open Training & Education Network) delivers a wide range of qualifications through distance education and flexible delivery to technical and further education students, schools and outside organisations.
  • Web-supported study options are offered either in an on-campus study program, or as a fully online study program, and often in 'mixed mode' - a combination of both on-campus and online activities.

NatFish
The National Fishing Industry Education Centre (NFIEC or NatFish) is located at Grafton in NSW and is part of the North Coast Institute of TAFE. The centre provides courses, resources, training and conference facilities for those involved in the catching, growing, processing and marketing of aquatic plants and animals. This website provides Aquaculture news and industry information, on-line courses, course and publications information and learning resources as well as interactive tools, links and discussion forums.
