Overview     

 Who we are

Primary Industries & Natural Resources Curriculum Centre (PINR) plans, designs and develops vocational education and training programs for a range of industry sectors which assist teachers and trainers to deliver effectively education and training.

Our strategic intent is to promote and support excellence in vocational education and training.

Our mission is to lead vocational education and training in NSW by developing innovative education courses and supporting products and services. We also provide strategic advice which enhances the performance of our customers in a highly competitive environment. This is achieved through close consultation with industry groups and peak professional organisations, employers, Industry Skills Councils and other providers in the Vocational Education & Training (VET) sector.

 Our services

  • design, implementation, support and evaluation of courses 
  • design and development of learning support materials for a range of delivery strategies including on-line delivery 
  • analysis of client training needs 
  • recommendations for appropriate training strategies and resources 
  • strategic planning advice to TAFE NSW Institutes on implementation of curriculum and training policy

 Expression of Interest

TAFE NSW Curriculum Centres undertake a wide range of course and resource development work. If you are interested in participating in such work for PINR complete the Expression of Interest form. Please consider applying to all the Curriculum Centres where your skills may be relevant.
