| TAFE NSW Sydney Institute's Fashion
Technology section has developed
strong industry links through its student Work Placement program and
government subsidised Traineeships for the Fashion Industry.
Work Placement is a component of all Fashion Technology courses and allows students to experience real life work environments and gives industry an opportunity to be actively involved in training employees for its future. |
Some of Australia's leading fashion and clothing companies have entered into training partnerships for their new and existing workers under the Traineeship system. Traineeships allow for new employees or those already employed in the fashion industry to have their high level technical skills recognised towards gaining a TAFE qualification. |
